Either he already believes we are moving up to FBS, or he doesn't make the distinction between FBS and FCS and calls it all "division 1", the way it should be.
Either way, no complaints about reading that!! _________________ Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades |

An additional list of recruiting targets with some different names.
http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/recruit-search-results
* Unfortunately, it won't seem to link to the search results. Go to database and search for Massachusetts. Have 20 players we are interested in, 2 of those have verballed to other schools. |

Umass should stay on the 4 star guys.. Unlike bball, the verbals mean nothing in football. It is possible Penn and A&M may get other commitments for the same position |

Agreed-the big schools over-recruit so much that sometimes they offer a kid an opportunity to be a contributor in 2 years and then he realizes that they offered the same thing to 15 other guys at the same position. UMass can swoop in and basically say, "You will play all 4 years." This is one of the big reasons why the MAC is known as the "Conference of Quarterbacks" Because a big time recruit often has 2 choices, go to Penn St. and maybe get a chance to start his Senior year, or go to a MAC school and start as a Freshman. _________________ UMass Football-2013 MAC Champions!!!!! |

| Glad to see that UMASS is offering to recruits from the Tidewater VA area. That is a great place for high school football. That is where VA. Tech gets many of its players. |
