Well the Minutemen fought hard but their season comes to an end with tonight's 4-2 loss at BC.

Interesting off-season coming up including a brand new Hockey East schedule. In terms of the 2011-12 schedule Bertagna announced next season's final series which for UMass will be a home & home with Merrimack.

Clearly the offense needs a tremendous amount of work, especially the powerplay. There have to be a lot more guys who can put the puck in the net on a regular basis. I think the 5 frosh defensemen who saw a lot of time this year will be solid next. I would guess that the Goalie position is Teglia's to lose, but who knows. I also hope there are a couple of tough guy/enforcer types coming in. This team got pushed around a lot this year.

Finally, maybe Toot can run a full practice or two on how to avoid too-many-men-on-the-ice penalties Laughing

Did not realize it has been 4 straight seasons of not going to the Garden until a few minutes ago. Really need to get back there.

If so, the Saturday 11/05 game against Boston College will be right after the football game against Villanova. Smile
