A weekend of upsets, especially Denver over Hopkins, and Maryland over 'Cuse.
I am not happy 3 of 4 teams are in ACC, but at least 'Cuse lost.
Very good turnout at the Razor - about 15,000 people - the second biggest crowd in quarter finals history for lax.
As usual, the Kraft went cheap on opening up food and beverage bays, and waits were long for even a water. In my view, this needs to get fixed before UMASS football games commence. Having been to Fenway Friday night, the time spent in line at Foxboro was 4x that for Fenway.
The seeming mix of security types to food servers was 3-1. Ridiculous for such a laid back crowd, with no in stadium access to alcohol.

I went to the Denver-Hopkins game and though in seed it was an upset, in reality, Denver was just a much better team. With the exception of a brief stretch in the third quarter, Denver thoroughly dominated them. A great game to watch and I'm hoping Denver can win it all, as a close friend's brother is a senior on the team and I'd love to see him get a ring. Plus, I think it's great for the sport. _________________ Muck Fax Page |

| Well it's certainly the first school from the west to make the Final Four, kinda like us in water polo all those years ago. Denver has a very good team and Tierney has been nothing but good for that program so far. Amazing what getting a good lacrosse mind can do for your team!! I'm sick of seeing the ACC/Hopkins/SU lovefest every year. |

Time to adopt Denver, if you are sick of the ACC! _________________ Feeling entitled is JUST a feeling... |

Well, you have to hand it to Virginia - lots of turmoil, dropping of the Bratton brothers, and they still won. A classic case of people picking up the slack, including the Maryland doubling of Steele Stanwick most of the game. and his team mates responded. _________________ Feeling entitled is JUST a feeling... |

| Stanwick has got to be Tewaarton trophy winner after that run through the tournament and the rest of the season he put up. It'll be interesting to see if they still go with Pannell though. |

I am rooting for Cornell's Pannell. It will be close. _________________ Feeling entitled is JUST a feeling... |
