| UMass got players in the 2011 signing class that turned down FBS programs. Given the level of the new talent and the fact that we are over the number of FCS allowed scholarships, we shouldn't be able to win the league this year. I think a large number of true freshmen will see the field this season and this year will help them grow into their future starting roles. This year will also give UMass time to develop their QB of the future. Whether we can win the championship or not, I think this will be a very important year in this transition. Just my humble opinion. |

The players, coaches and many fans care. If you don't care thats cool, but alot of folks do care and we are also most certainly looking ahead. |
Jack, I'll bet you a dollar that the players, coaches and most fans would like to do away with this season all together and move up right now. Can you imagine how excited they must be? I certainly am. Once we actually make the move and start playing our games at Gillette we're going to forget about the CAA and never look back. |
I think the players, coaches and fans want to win football games. I'm looking forward to this season - Holy Cross & BC w/home games against rhody, unh, nova and jimmy mad - pretty psyched for this season. But I also agree w/you on the future and not looking back. |

We're the ones leaving. | It's no different than other 1-AA schools upgrading to 1-A, or switching conferences. Through the course of the season, don't be too surprised if some interesting refs' calls go against UMass. |

I'm more concerned about some interesting Morris calls going against UMass... |
