So that's why there's a random Fedex executive on our staff this year... |

| Will they name is Anonymous Gymnasium? That would be kind of cool. Seriously, though, who might it be named for? Jack is the obvious choice, but Jack is already on the court, so they might want to look to someone else. |

Last spring, the Athletic Council's annual report indicated the following:
| Quote: | Longer range planning continues for an athletic facility called the Champions Center to be located on or near at the site of the current baseball field. The plan calls for a building containing office space, basketball practice facilities, weight rooms, training rooms, and an indoor practice bubble. To acomodate this, building planning is underway to relocate the baseball field behind the football stadium at the south end.
The first phase of the project, basketball practice facilities, will cost approximately $35M with athletics raising $20M |
The project is not currently listed on the Facilities Planning website, which typically includes projects in various stages of planning or construction. |

| Won't be on the site of the current baseball field because they don't have the funds to move it like originally planned next to the F B field. When the AD spoke at the luncheon earlier this year one possible location was in the parking lot north of the hockey practice facility. |

It was me… No, it wasn't.
But in honor of the donor, I will assume the role of his beneficiary and accept the task of drinking all free beers and drinks on his behalf.
Please don’t worry about my sacrifice, I can handle it. |

What did you ever do with all that money that you were supposedly raising a few years back for the Dr. J statue? _________________ Save your breath... you'll need it to blow up your date |

Still raising it. I have it in a bank account at the moment. Still not high enough to really make a worthwhile donation to the university that would spur the movement. _________________ Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades |

Given that we had no basketball related facility, our pitch to a recruit who is considering us during their official or unofficial visit has just improved dramatically. It's going to be quite a facility by the looks of it. Things are looking up for the program. Thank you to the anonymous donor! This gift is really something. |
Even the fact that it is just a picture right now is an asset. Any future recruit will have 1-2 years in this facility. |
