The UMass game at Quinnipiac is on NESN today at 3:30. Quinnie's relationship with NESN is the same as UMass' relationship with RNX; each school buys airtime and produces their own broadcast. Be prepared for a heavy dose of homer-ism with a splash of incompetence. When Qunnipiac broadcast their game at Providence a few years back, the broadcast displayed the PC NCAA banners complete with commentation about how the Friars went to the NCAA tourney the season before... except they were showing the WOMEN's banners.
UMass needs to stop the bleeding. This stretch of ECAC games and the Florida College Classic is the last chance this team will have to get things shored up before the HEA stretch for the remainder of the season. |

| Maybe if McCutcheon get's enough emails then he will explore the possibility. My feeling is he needs to take the right steps to stop the bleeding at the gate or we will be back to Mallen era attendance very shortly. Look at the revenue lost from basketball since the wrong hires that were made in the past. |

| You are aware average attendance is up this year from last year? Also getting a deal with NESN has little to do with who is behind the bench. |

Took 78 one minute to respond. Now that is impressive.
On a related front - from Twitter:
"Prime example that Colleges need to do a better job connecting with alumni: UMass hockey game just started, 15 mins from me. Had no idea." _________________ "Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here." |
