That is an extremely well put together document. Great to see!
No Cal or Pitino, though, assuming my search function was working properly. _________________ Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades |

| I'd say its very safe to say coach Cal was one of the anonymous folks. Not sure I'd say the same for Pitino since he seems to hate UMass. |

| it wouldn't surprise me in the least if cal was the anonymous $10 mill for the champions center, dk head coach, daughters go/went here, etc. |

| It would shock me. 10mm is a HUGE donation. Cal makes a lot of money, but not nearly as much as folks who make 10mm donations. |

Cal has previously been on the list, as has Pitino. Cal may have something going on where Kentucky said "go ahead and donate, just do it annonymously while your with us," whereas he didn't have that restriction with Memphis. As for Pitino, no idea... _________________ Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades |

| Cal has a lot closer ties to UMass than Pitino does. Cal brought UMass to the forefront but it also got him to a number of very high paying jobs, so it was a win-win. Pitino played for UMass but that didn't really propel him to any immediate top job. I wouldn't expect Rick to contribute as much as Cal. |

| It wouldn't surprise me to see either on the list, or off the list. But not at the 10mm level. Or the 1mm level, for that matter. |

I'm just surprised that I don't see either of them on the list when they have both been on it in the past. Maybe they are annonymous, maybe they decided this year they weren't going to donate. Maybe they've both died. I don't know. It's ok if they don't, I'm just saying that I'm surprised based on their historical donations. _________________ Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades |

Not likely given these quotes from the report:
"says the donor, who earned a master’s degree from the Isenberg
School of Management and wishes to remain anonymous"
"“I get frustrated when I walk the streets of Boston and hear people talk about Boston College basketball but not the University of
Massachusetts," |

Love the guy for his donation, but who talks about BC basketball in the streets of Boston?
They hardly talk about it in Conte Forum. |

| That's an amazing donation. We just need to find a couple multimillionaire football fans now to bring us up to speed. |
