6'6'', 205 lbs. | Class of 2013 (He is actually 6'8" now... he grew 2" since last update.) I am assuming he is heavier then.

Hometown: Portsmouth, RI
School: Cushing Academy
Position: Power Forward

Quote:
Andrew Chrabascz, BABC – He’s been one of BABC’s most efficient and important role players in recent years, but this month he took his game to another level, emerging as an offensive standout for the club at AAU Nationals and simultaneously likely pushing his recruitment to the next level.

Quote:
Andrew Chrabascz, Cushing Academy: You can’t really call it a breakout spring because Chrabascz has actually been a pillar of consistency but as time goes on he only continues to prove himself, continuing to take his game and body (he’s grown two inches) to new levels to separate himself from other frontcourt players in the class.

Plays on one of the best AAU teams in the country BABC:

I believe Andrew is the son of Carl Chrabascz who played for Ware, Ma High School and Penn State. Perhaps family ties in the Valley will bring Andrew to UMass.

NERR reported back in August that we've offered:
http://www.newenglandrecruitingreport.com/news/article/2110/Chrabascz-Taking-Visits.php

Nice competition on the interested list, not as great on the offered list:
Quote:
In the two weeks since July came to an end Chrabascz says he has heard from over 30 schools including Boston College, Syracuse, Seton Hall, and Temple while scoring scholarship offers from UMass, Vermont, Jacksonville, Florida Atlantic, and Delaware.

Welcome to you, sir or ma'am (assuming you're an old poster with a new name).

Too bad we can't land that Nerlens Noel kid. Looks like a 6'10" shot-blocking freak.

Clearly the maker of that "highlight" clip does not understand the concept of "highlight". WOW!

I don't think Andrew is coming here. He is an A student and is looking at the Ivy league. This comes from a friend of mine who knows the family.
