The irony is that in a few years, Temple could end up begging the a10 to take it back. _________________ Always remember that you are unique, just like everyone else. |

| How long does one think that the C-USA/MWC would last with all that travel and expense? Whereas the MAC has been around for years with only Marshall joining and then leaving, and Temple joing only in football with limited success. Don't underestimate the quality of athletics in the MAC. |

It's not the "athletics" we're worried about, it's the basketball. _________________ Always remember that you are unique, just like everyone else. |

Food for thought in Sheridan's column: "The worst thing Temple could do is jump at the chance to join a Big East that just doesn't exist anymore."
Who knows, it might be something we'll have to think about sometime down the road. |

That is an excellent piece of opinion writing. The BCS (and big money) is destroying college athletics as we know it. Whether that is a "good" thing or a "bad" thing is another discussion. |

Interesting situation. Temple maybe having second thoughts. Big East can't be seen as being rejected by Temple. Who blinks first? _________________ Always remember that you are unique, just like everyone else. |

| I don't see Temple having second thoughts about becoming a BCS program unless there are contractual/financial obligations which can't be overcome (somewhat likely given that this supposedly needs to happen this year or else). Probably just as likely that Big East politics as usual is getting in the way though. |

When Temple leaves should UMASS schedule an ooc game against Temple?
DK seemed to think that this is not a good fit in the radio interview yesterday. It seems like another rivalry will be ended by conference realignment. |
