To clarify -

That link is just that websites winners, based on their columnists votes.

The real A10 awards also came out today. Chaz made top team on both.

Are those the real A-10 awards, or just who the guys at College Chalktalk have as their winners, independent of the A-10 ?

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough. I did state "their awards". I'm just glad to see that Chaz is getting recognized by media outlets as well as the league itself.

Higher seeds all won the first round. Dayton, St Joes, La Salle.

This is gonna be one heckuva a weekend of basketball.

I plan on marathon watching all the A-10 games on Friday from my couch. Like our matchups with Temple. Like Bona and SJU being the other two left in our side of the bracket.

Chaz getting a lot of love on the broadcast. They've had two full conversations about his awesomeness.

obviously not enough, his awesomeness is too large to cover with mere words. Wink

You make a good point. Chaz Williams is indeed seven feet tall. And tomorrow, he'll consume the Bonnies with firebolts from his eyes, and bolts of lightning from his arse.

5 Temple draws Cal/USF play-in winner
Temple should be happy with this. USF is 2-9 against the RPI Top 50 and Cal is 0-3. And if that wasn't enough, they get the winner on short rest and after travelling. Picking Temple here.

14 St Bona draws 3 Florida St.
Not a good draw for Bona. Nicholson vs. Bernard James should be interesting to watch, but there is no team that has more momentum going into the tourney like FSU. Gotta go with FSU.

10 Xavier draws 7 Notre Dame
Another good game, but Notre Dame is probably not happy to get this draw. Xavier has had some let downs this season and losing today against SBU deflates their stock. But they are dangerous and loaded with talent. Picking XU in my bracket

9 Saint Louis draws 8 Memphis
Another toss up for me. I know Majerus is a good coach, but Pastner and the Tigers are probably going to be a bit overwhelming for them. The Billikens like slowing the game down, and I don't think they will be able to slow down Memphis. Memphis wins it in my bracket.

Also, just saw on twitter that Brad Stevens thinks the teams to keep an eye on in the tournament are Xavier and Memphis.

Doug Gottlieb says that if he had to take teams out of the tournament Xavier would be among them. "They really only beat Dayton twice since the brawl".

Pretty unhappy with the a10 draws. Temple's is good, thought they would be a 6 not a 5, but st louis and bona got bad match ups, X is whatever. Wanted to pick st louis and Bona to make runs as low seeds, but outlook doesn't look great on that front.

I can't stand Gotlieb. . .he's an arrogant moron who thinks he knows everything just because he played ball at OK State.

Different strokes I guess?

Doug Gottlieb says that if he had to take teams out of the tournament Xavier would be among them. "They really only beat Dayton twice since the brawl".

I totally agree with him. People have been touting EggSavior all season and they really haven't done sh#t since that Cincy fiasco. Terrell Holoway and Lyons make the All Team simply because they make the finals? "Zip 'em up!" I hope ND beats them by 20!!
