^^^ I like this from Dewey's offensive line story:

"the team's new no-huddle, spread offense"

Crooks - The alumni game news came in an email from Coach Molnar.

So it looks like we're going FULLMass on the gridiron. Maybe they should sign up Chaz!

What's up gang, finally got thru the registration procedure to join you diehards on these boards (wasn't easy, had to sign away my next born child). I am the proud inventor of Operation 50k, which of course combined with $1 gets me the Globe every morning. Cannot wait for the season to start, every time Coach puts out a spring update I want to see if he needs another body to run down on kickoff coverage and hit somebody. Of course I graduated in 1987 so I'm probably only good for that one hit before my back, shoulder, knee etc goes out, but boy what a hit it would be!!!! got my season tickets and am looking forward to hanging out with you guys all fall.

Hoping to start the process by getting out to the Spring game (hopefully my kid's sports schedules will cooperate) and hooking up with people there. Finally going big time, can't wait!!!

Proudly claim the adjective "freak", my wife has probably called me worse. As a matter of fact she did in fact when I first met her during the early Calipari years and she couldn't believe I had hoop season tickets even though I lived in Salem. Lots of late night drives home, but they were usually with a smile on my face after another big win. By the time I went down to Atlanta for the Sweet 16/Round of 8 games she knew better than argue. Now that we are going big time in the greatest sport in the world I am on cloud nine, can't freaking wait!!!

As we get closer to the Spring Game and I get my FB invite out fo the tailgate, I'll post it here so you can see where I set up. You're more than welcome to swing by! You'll also want to check out the Section U tailgate. If you like lots of people, crap beer and really good grilled food, mine is for you. If you like a smaller crowd, fantastic beer, and a bit more personal touch on your grilled food, Section U is your party.

You won't go wrong either way!

Section U appreciates the unsolicited invitation for the masses to drink all of our superior beer and eat all of our superior offerings. We love you too.

Smile

So as not to play any favorites or piss off my new friends I am glad to announce I will happily drink the beer and eat the food at BOTH your tailgates.

I charge for mine ($10 for all you can eat and drink), but if you are just gonna swing by and check it out and then hit up your next party, let me know and I'll gladly throw ya a beer and some food on the house!

You'll understand why when we get a chance to talk about it!

If he shows up empty handed at the Section U tailgate he'll be both hungry and thirsty!

I love the tailgate smack talk already! I posted in another thread how we do it in the south but would love to see some great pictures of all the different UMass tailgates this fall. Some other schools have threads dedicated to seeing who has the best tailgate which include pictures, it might be a bandwith killer but if allowed I think could be cool to see the spirit all you guys have!

Football season can't come soon enough!!

SJG might have an edge because he states that he is in Danvers. Our field general, Rocks, has a connection there.
