I think the rotation/depth chart is a subject worthy of discussion. I will post over in the 2012-2013 season thread as it applies to the whole season, rather than just the tournament.

I cn of like the 4 games in 4 nights format. The teams with the bye really get rewarded, and I absolutely think we're capable of getting a bye. If we're outside the top 5 (yes I know the 5 seed will have to win 4 games in 4 nights) our ncaa tourny hopes will be slim anyways. Plus, I think we should have one of the deeper teams in the a10, so this could be to our advantage.

I liked first round on campus. Not sure why they would get rid of that format.

I agree with you, I thought that setup was far superior in just about every way to the 4 games in 4 days at a neutral site.

Might have to do with the venue's requirements.

That might be it. Barclays might have asked for 4 days, and 2 more gates.

I like this format better, to be honest. It looks and feels like a real tournament.

Pros and cons...biggest factor to me is the return of a big benefit for the bye teams. At a good time for us, as we look to be in the mix for that over the next two years at least.

Tickets are on sale already if anyone wants to get an early start. I'm definitely going be there. I think it's going be a great tourney in a great environment....just not buying tickets in September

The link was clumsy. Surely they can do a better job clarifying what they are selling.

That's exciting! I was just down in Brooklyn yesterday, and thinking about how much I would enjoy four solid days of a10 hoops.
