Is this serious? Did someone just call someone out on grammar while misspelling the word "sentence". |

If Ibleedmaroon goes, we won't have anyone posting youtube highlights of guys that have committed to Pitt. What fun is that? |

Jon Rothstein @JonRothstein
Aquille Carr is smaller than Chaz Williams but has some of the same attributes. Both can accelerate --- both at best in transition.

Nice that other top recruits are being compared to Chaz Williams by national analysts. Hoping we make a nice run in the Puerto Rico tournament and Chaz solidifies his burgeoning status in the media as one of the more exciting players around. |

| Was he prompted to mention Chaz or was it off the cuff? If it was off the cuff then that is great. I cant remember another recent minuteman being used as a comparison standard for other players or recruits. |

I guess we don't need Trey Davis now.
On a serious note, thanks for the hospitality today. |

^ perhaps.
Cliff notes for people who want the quick summary:
Chaz got put in this writers Top 10 PGs for next year in the number 10 spot. He highlighted Chaz's numbers down the stretch against quality opponents but wanted to see how he would play on a "NCAA-worthy team". |

| That's a big time endorsement from a major publication. Let's hope Chaz' new pal, Derrick Gordon reads the piece. |

More reasons to love Chaz...
His .419 from 3 is 4th-best on the UMass career list.
His .788 at the line is also 4th-best.
His 16.9 ppg this past season put him in the top 10 in Scoring Average at UMass, at number 9 to be exact.
If he stays on pace, he could end up in the top 10 lists in these categories also:
Field Goals
Field Goals Attempted
3-pt Field Goals
Free Throws
Assists (he could threaten Chris Lowe at #1)
Steals (he could threaten Edgar Padilla at #1)
He'll likely be the 42nd member of the UMass 1,000 point club, at some point next season.

^^^
To me, that was one of the most pleasent surprises of last season. I remember Bruiser was asked about Chaz and what UMass would be getting prior to the season. Bru said something like, he can't shoot that well, but he is lightning quick. I remember thinking well, a least we're getting someone who can create for his team. Turns out, he was our best outside shooter. There was plenty of times where we were desperate for a basket and Chaz would just pull up and can a 3. Dude has meant more to our program than anyone since Camby. |
