Kosty - there was one Collegian issue that had a full page color picture of Will Herndon hanging from the rim and looking down on the camera. I think he was wearing a practice jersey. I had that thing hanging on my wall in college and beyond but it got lost along with all of my other UMass memorabilia during a move many years ago. If you have that picture and scanned it and posted it online, you would be my hero. It would immediately become my new avatar! Will pay $$ for a hard copy. _________________ There ain't no days off. I picked up years ago from a friend of mine a basketball signed by the 95/96 team and coaches. The team had a dinner in my friend's brother's restaurant in the Cincinnati area. He got the team and coaches to sign the basketball. He would get a basketball signed by every team that came through and ate at the restaurant. Well, my friend was not a UMass fan, so he kept a ball signed by Kentucky and traded me the UMass signed ball for 10 bootleg grateful dead concerts that I put onto CD for him. I have had the ball now since around 1998/1999. Sits in an enclosed little display case in the living room.
Nobody here in Seattle appreciates it. _________________ Please don't dominate the rap jack, if you have nothing new to say! |
