Sure, but UConn's home football stadium in East Hartford is even easier and faster to get to via main roads from Amherst than Storrs.

Woah woah woah, why would we actually want to go to the game? I vote for rioting on their campus.

wrong. rentschler is about 25 miles from storrs - straight shot on 84. its about 55 miles from amherst and going through the notch still doesn't make it closer than storrs is.

To clarify, my previous message was unclear. From Amherst, UConn's Rentschler Field in East Hartford is more convenient (just off of I-91, 84, and 384?) and faster to get to than traveling from UMass to Storrs. Regardless, UConn does not play football games in Storrs.

^^^^
That's awesome! I'd love to see it too. To be mentioned with all of the teams in that list is pretty cool.

Found this today, calling for a recurring UM/UC football game:
http://www.stamfordadvocate.com/uconn/article/Mike-Cardillo-UConn-fans-should-relish-chance-at-3552674.php

Although with all the basketball references, I'm not sure if the writer wants a hardwood renewal too.

UMass and UConn should be playing each other every year in every sport.
