I am rooting for Talley, but I can't imagine the "blind" Giants will find that proverbial "nut" again..be cool..be great for UMass..but it seems like a long shot.

The Super Bowl Champion New York Football Giants cut Julian Talley today. He gave it a shot though.

I went to Giants camp a couple times at Albany and Talley looked good, solid..nothing that stood out though. He just had a lot more guys a head of him than Cruz did when he was in Talley's place. Giants have Nicks, Cruz, Hixon, Barden, Jernigan, Randle, Douglas, and Stanback who were all ahead of him on the depth chart. And quite frankly, without Cruz's performance against the Jets in that preseason game he may have been cut too.
