Its been about 2 months since anybody posted anything on the women's program. Any news?
Looks like on the online roster, #15 Robinson is not returning for a Senior season? |

Any news on Cloutier's injury? I think if the Minutewomen are to finish in the top half of the conference, they need her to have solid, consistent games.
Didn't see her in action in a video on the UMass wbb page taken in May. |

"Sharon Dawley and her staff enter their third season in Amherst and will play their seven home contests versus Butler, Charlotte, Duquesne, George Washington, La Salle, Temple and Xavier, with travel to Dayton, Fordham, Rhode Island, Richmond, St. Bonaventure, Saint Joseph's and Saint Louis. UMass and VCU are not slated to meet in the regular-season on the women's side." |

| All the returning players are now on campus for summer school. Freshmen should arrive for summer session 3 in July. |

I would have sworn she's entering her second season. Did I miss a year? |

it's easy to make that mistake since nothing much has happened over her tenure. This has to be the year they make some noise. _________________ All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass. |

| I read her blog and it was quite enjoyable. Enthusiastic and humorous, a good combination. Keep it coming. |

Enjoying Bomben's posts as well.
Saw this post today - it is rumored UMass associate coach Lanpher has been offered the coaching job at NJIT or is a leading candidate for the job:
http://www.whoopdirt.com/blog/b9632233/hot-rumor-umass-assistant-the-leader-at-njit/
According to multiple sources, the leader for the vacant position at NJIT is UMass associate head coach Steve Lanpher. Some sources are reporting that he has already been offered the position. Lanpher has been on the UMass staff for the previous two seasons, and was the associate head coach at Vermont before that. He has previous experience as a head coach at Dean College (MA), Norwich University (VT), and Pratt CC (KS). I'll keep you updated as I hear more. |
