Guys in the top Greek league routinely make a million or more a year and often it's untaxed if they're a foreigner. Really a good choice for Steph. Only concern I'd have is what might happen to the turbulent state of economic affairs in Greece and how that might affect the operations of a hoops league...

The Greek deal must have an out. He is quoted by Frank Dell'Apa in today's Celtics Notebook in the Globe (old school hard copy - so no link) as being hopeful for a training camp invite.
Since the Lee trade wiped out four (4) bodies from the roster and the C's don't appear to be matching Steinsma's offer sheet, I see why he would be hopeful.
