| And now UMass has it's first official Stanley Cup win thanks to Quick tonite. 2-1 in OT over the Devils, their 9th road win in these playoffs!! |

| A Stanley Cup winner and a Super Bowl winner in the same year ... how sweet would that be for UMass? |

LA wins game 2 in ot, 2-1. Kings up 2-0 in the series. Halfway there and heading to Staples Center. _________________ I wish Hockey East was an all-sports conference. |

1 win from the Cup after tonite's shutout by Quick. Smells like the Smyth to me for sure.
What are the odds that his number gets retired this season IF they win the Cup AND he wins the Smyth?? What's the policy on number retirement for hockey guys? I'd say Pock and Quick NEED to be up there and probably Mauldin. |

Pock absolutely should be up there. It's tough with Quick since he was only in Amherst for 2 years. But if ever an exception could/should be made, it would be for a Stanley Cup/Conn Smythe winner! I would put Mauldin slightly below, but don't get me wrong, I loved him as a player. I consider myself spoiled to have seen Pock and Mauldin play while I was a student. |

Agreed on all accounts. Had Mauldin stayed one more year, he would have had the chance to go down as the best Minuteman Hockey player ever. He was that good. _________________ Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades |

^Pretty expensive when you can buy the jersey for $90 and get the letters and numbers put on for what, $20 at the most? _________________ I wish Hockey East was an all-sports conference. |

| Wonderful article on "Quickie" in today's NY Times about his growing up in Hamden and playing street hockey. UMass also in the article. I trust someone will be good enough to link it. Thanks. |

| My son who works for MGM in Vegas looked into getting a ticket to the Kings hockey game tonight and the cheapest he could find was up in nose bleed heaven for $ 1,500. Obviously he passed. |

| Kings lost 3-2. They were down 2-1 and pulled Quick in the end and the Devils got an open net goal. Next game is on Sat in NJ. |
