Good find. Very interesting -- I wonder if Kellogg would show interest down the line...

As a non-qualifier, he could come here, pay his own way and sit out this year much like Tyrell Lynch did. Then suit up in 2011-2012, taking City's spot on the roster and hopefully adding to his 220 frame in the off year.

How would he compare to the other class of 2011 big men we are KAEO?

Cady Lalanne - ESPN 90 - #44 at PF, Scout 166 overall - #33 at position

Greg Lewis - ESPN 91 - #24 at C, Scout 105 overall - #15 at position

Ryan Canty - ESPN 88 - #34 at C

Vince Van Nes - ESPN 90 - #39 at PF

Zach Auguste - ESPN 90 - #40 at PF

So overall, DK might want to bring him on, unless he feels strongly that Greg Lewis will be signing a LOI in the fall period.

On Twitter via @DMcDonaldHoops

Bad news UGA fans...2010 hoops signee Cady Lalanne is headed to U-Mass. Good luck to Cady! He's a great kid.

This is HUGE for that 2011/12 team.

Wow, if true it's a great get. Scout mentioned him as the nation's #21 rated center:

Would be sweet! Come north young Cady. DK is bringing in some nice talent to Amherst and Cady would be a nice get. Gotta believe the future looks bright.

Go Umass!

Looks good - but is he really a center at 6'9"?

In the Atlantic 10, a legit 6'9 is absolutely a center if the skill set fits.

6'9 is about right for A10 centers don't you think?

I guess so - it just seems a bit small compared to Bonner and Big City - but then again he probably fits the DDM a lot better than either of those guys.

As discussed, we are not in the market for 7'0" unless they have some warts or big question marks. Guys that big with reasonable skills go to the big dogs for a one year cameo.....

We should be in search of the Rhymers and Gaffneys of the world.

Bonner is a tall person who can shoot it a little.

Big City is a big man.....if he can get in good shape, he can be a real factor for 20 mins a night.

If Big Mystery can provide any minutes, then both Sean and City can play a little more aggressive defense and rebounding. Seemed like last year City would come in to spell Sean, draw a foul and Carter would have to go right back in.
