Scouts.com has us listed as offering to him. Not sure how I feel having a 5'8 PG though.
ESPN has him as an 85, but doesn't have us listed as considering. _________________ "When I got the call, there were no negotiations, just when can I come?" -DK |

| Gotta worry about the info. They list him at Lee Academy (same as Maxie Esho), but he doesn't appear on their roster. |

I was just wondering if DC Assault had a point guard. _________________ Always remember that you are unique, just like everyone else. |

| I think small, speedy PGs are kind of like the 3 pointer. You live or die by them. At 5'8 can he get to the rim? |

I'm not the guys biggest supporter, but players the caliber of Anthony Anderson (who was more of a shooting guard misused by Lappas anyway, but I digress) are a bad thing? 2nd in 3-pointers made (5th in %), 3rd in steals and 7th in assists all-time at UMass? Offers from multiple Big East and ACC schools coming out of HS, averaged 10/3/4 as a freshman?
Talent is talent, and as a team in our position we often need to find players that are overlooked by the BCS schools. If a player's a high-major talent, but being overlooked because he's less than 5'10, who cares? This is college, not the NBA - short PG's aren't a problem. |

You had better include the percentage figure, otherwise UMASS87 might get mad!!!!!!

AA was definitely projected as a point guard when Bruiser was recruiting him, so I can't blame that one totally on Lappas. The problem with AA and DePina was, as Jack used to say, they are shooting guards trapped in point guard bodies. I belive DePina is the leading 3 pt shooter ever at UMass, percentage wise. So, if this little guy is a true PG, then the comparisons to AA and DePina are not really valid.
p.s. I think AA was a decent defender. _________________ Always remember that you are unique, just like everyone else. |

| This kid is listed as 5'8", AA was 5'11". Those three inches can make a big difference at this level. |
