Didn't see that anybody mentioned this...
I saw that women's lacrosse added Amanda Belichick as an assistant coach over the summer:

If her name sounds familiar, it should. Her dad is Bill, head coach of the Patriots. |

Ladies and gentlemen - We have an early leader in the UMassHoops.com worst post of 2010 competition. _________________ "Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here." |

Wasn't this the team's second game? I think they got crushed by Perennial power Northwestern in the opener. _________________ If only I could be as great a fan as Pierce9999.... |

Between this and women's basketball, you're just a little ray of sunshine when it comes to picking and choosing what UMass teams you feel like being a fan of. _________________ "Wherever I go, I’ll never be bashful about being from UMass, baby.” -Victor Cruz |

Note this recap from uconnhuskies.com, particular the reference to UMASS as "cross-state rival":
http://www.uconnhuskies.com/sports/w-lacros/recaps/022010aaa.html
Remember that quote the next time some UC hoopster tries to insist that we are not rivals. We have it from the bitch's mouth, so to speak!
Congrats, Ladies! Way to dance on the Husky grass! _________________ "Good times and riches and son-of-a bitches, I've seen more than I can recall"-Jimmy Buffett |

He has also had some classic posts on the mens basketball forum regarding Big City. Definitely a strong supporter of his alma mater. _________________ If only I could be as great a fan as Pierce9999.... |
