Since we're nearing the end of Ricky's career, where do you think he will end up on the all-time scoring list?

I'll say #4

Entering this season ...

1. 2374 Jim MCCOY (126 games) - 1988-92
2. 2183 Monty Mack (123 games) - 1997-01
3. 1905 Louis ROE (134 games) - 1991-95
4. 1744 Rashaun Freeman (118 games) - 2003-07
5. 1731 Lorenzo SUTTON (110 games) - 1984-88
6. 1643 Tony BARBEE (126 games) - 1989-93
7. 1558 Donald RUSSELL (110 games) - 1981-85
8. 1534 Harper WILLIAMS (119 games) - 1989-93
9. 1503 Mike PYATT (105 games) - 1974-78
10. 1428 Horace NEYSMITH (111 games) - 1981-85

Ricky had 1347 entering the season; if he matches last year's total of 546, that would give him 1893, good for fourth place, but just 12 shy of third.

Considering that he currently has 243 points this year through 14 games then I will say he ends up 4th with an outside shot at 3rd. We have a minimum of 16 games left. He would need some monster games to reach any hight than 4th, which would help and probably result in more games for him so who knows. Baring injuries, reaching 4th should be pretty easy. Currently sits at 1590 points in 7th place all time. What about the 3s made record? Where does he sit in relation to that?

Ray had the "advantage" of starting since day 1, coming into a bare cupboard. Ricky averaged less than 11 minutes per game as a frosh, had to find PT behind Gary and James Jimmy.

Answer:
UMass game notes wrote:
Harris continues to stand fourth in career made 3-pointers (236) and 3-pointers attempted (662). Next on the list in both is Carmelo Travieso, who had 245 makes on 666 attempts from 1993-97.

Anyway, back on Ricky's climing the scoring charts... Now that conference play has started, I wouldn't be surprised if his numbers start to dip a little. The A-10 has been seeing Ricky for 3 years now, they know what he can do, and I think he'll draw intense defense that will try to limit his looks.

Very good point Mike. And Ray also flattened out a bit his Jr and Sr. years, so he could have been higher had he kept the improvement happening.

Ricky has to average 21 a game for the remainder to climb past TV Lou Roe into 3rd all time. With how he's been scoring lately, not out of reach. Would be nice to see the team catch fire and make a little run in the tourney in AC for RH5 to end his career on an up note
