Is there anyone who saw a hockey game on the campus pond? Not sure if they actually played any games there but I do understand they did practice on it. Have to ask Russ KIdd if I see him at the luncheon tomorrow.
I forgot to add West Point for seeing UMass play FB to my list. |

| I saw UMass play in the cage when the court went east-west rather than the current north- south. |

I saw many games there. A fraternity brother of mine was a defenseman on the team back in the day. Watching games at Orr felt like watching Classical High School's team play at the Coliseum on the grounds of the Big E...only smaller.

When there was a dirt floor under the court, leaky glass panels on the roof, and the baseball netting to protect the walls and glass during baseball practice...
how it was when I was there... _________________ I'd tell you about my trip to the dentist, but you know the drill. |

I remember those days. If I can remember correctly one BB game I was at had to be postponed because the glass section of the roof was leaking enough to make play unsafe. |

| Also, my freshman year I went to a UMass-AIC hockey game outdoors at the Amherst rink....we lost, I believe it was 11-1.....would have been a blowout had our goalie not made over 90 saves |
