| Wasn't Jeff found to be the guy over on the A-10 board that was crowing about Gibbs being the A-10 POY as a freshman??? Sure, Fraud's big recruiting class was not good, but to claim it's the worst class he's ever seen is a little overboard! |

It was a horrible recruiting class and a disservice to the University, one of my biggest gripes against Ford. However, what about Lap's Last Class? Lamoureux, and who else? _________________ Always remember you are unique, just like everyone else. |

That 8-man recruiting class (9 if you count Matthews), now in its junior season, is contributing the following combined statline per game:
26.3 mins, 3.3 pts, 2.8 rebs, 2.3 ast, and shoots 27.2% from the floor.

Even worse than I thought. That is friggin awful and one of the worst classes I have ever seen. Luckily the future looks a lot more promising.

That's an excellent article Quinn. Thanks for posting it. I had never quite put all the pieces together about Ford's recruiting disaster. When you look at who DK has brought in so far (TV, Freddie, Javorn, etc.), things are going to look better. At least I'm carried along for now and will be patient! |

Yes, the freshman are the hope. Two are averaging close to 10 points a game and the other two hustle and have some skills. if each year we can bring in the same quality players we have a chance.Fords last class just didnt make it at all. Maybe Travis saw the writing on the wall when OFTEN all he could do was use Gary C. at the point. |

| MAybe TF was planning on coaching his players up. Which is something that has to be done at most mid-major programs like Umass. |

TF did a good job of getting the most out of his players. They may have been one and done in the A-10 tourney twice but the last time around they were puking their guts out into buckets on the sideline and still made a game of it. Have you seen any of that this year?
Yeah, I know, he's not walking through that door. |

| Does anyone on here sit close to the bench during the games? Unfortunately I can't so I want to know what kind of guidance DK puts out to his team in-game and during timeouts if you can hear or see. I watch every game and because i live so far away i can only get to about 3 per year...but listening on the radio every game i can hear DK yelling during the games......and what he yells just doesnt seem like its encouraging whatever coaching philisospy he has.....he seems to yell a lot of names.....and "get up" and "back" and not too many plays or sets......are those hand signals? if anyone can enlighten me it would be great thanks |
