Sure, makes sense to hold a high profile "classic" at Gillette and NOT include the state's flagship university and one of the winningest college lacrosse teams over the past 10 years. Sheesh. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

On top of the fact that we have to GO TO Snorrs for a game.....a game that could have been included in this "classic" thingy. Ugh.

I am happy the Cornell is going, but I tend to agree UMASS should be there. We had a big fan base attending the Harvard game at Cambridge last year.

On the other hand, we are at the Razor in football next 2 years, and many were complaining it should be on campus also. On balance, I am mildly disappointed.

Actually, East Hartford. The Gillette thing sounds like a total Ivy League preppiefest, and I'd just as soon not be involved.

Good Lacrosse - Dartmouth excepted. I do not see a difference in Lax crowds between All Ivy, and UMass vs. Ivy. Lax is Lax.

Kind of odd that they call it a New England Lacrosse Classic when 2 of the 4 teams involved aren't from New England. Rolling Eyes

Well, at least I got a second degree sun burn. Big Green was pumped, had an excellent goalie, and outworked Big red in second half.

Green deserved the win. No question. It was actually 8-4, and Cornell shut out in the second half, until the last 30 seconds.

Starting to think that there is a Gillette curse on Cornell.
