You sir, don't know jack-shit about UMass baseball.
It's called NE college baseball. Trying to do more with a LOT less and Mike Stone has been a master at his craft. _________________ “Let everybody know, nobody did it like Temple and Mass.” J.Chaney 2/15/13 |

Give Mike a break! The guy doesn't have a lot of support to work with. Little money, a flood-prone field nestled between a practice hockey rink and a power plant (what are we, the freaking Soviets?). Around one year ago, there were serious discussions about cutting baseball. Who knows what the future will bring in that regard.
You can't get blood out of a stone.

Game is in the 13th inning. Game two will probably move to tomorrow since it will get dark. _________________ http://youtu.be/8i5A1Pn0z6k |

| With so much emphasis on pitch count nowadays, especially among younger pitchers, I'm surprised anyone would be allowed to throw that many. |

| Anyone going down to Brockton to see UMass play Norhteastern at the Rox Stadium? It is the first game of the Beanpot. Looks like Fenway Park couldn't find enough time for the bosox to even host the final. The final will also be in Brockton next week. |
