Reading the gazette article (see Trey Davis thread), no suggestion of any physical problem with Chaz. Is he the most exciting player we've had since Lasme? Maybe GForbes?

What do we know about's Chaz' MRI on Tuesday?

Where did you get this from? Dewey didn't mention it in his article. It sounded from the article like Chaz was playing at full speed. In fact, Dewey said the following:
Quote:
Davis spent much of Tuesday's workout going against Williams....

never pass up talent. It sounds like he has talent because those are pretty good numbers for a frosh. Big deal if he's the same size as traynham. He's proven he can do it at the college level. Plus a full 40 mins of point guards going 100mph will be tough to defend. Also shooting 39% from 3 isnt so bad.

Yup. If guys can play and play well, go get 'em. Let the competition settle who plays how much. And as OC always says, the roster changes every year due to circumstances we don't/can't expect, so get as much talent as we can

And just to recycle a little bit. How smart do Insider and Floyd look from page 1 of this thread? We always get caught up in what the fit is for the players but the only real question is, can the guy play or not? Just think, if we'd worried about duplicating positions and players with a similar skill set, we'd have 1/2 year of Daryl Traynham and no program changing player like Chaz. Where would we be? Screwed. The only real question with recruiting is: 'are you getting good kids who can play'?

Not sure if anyone caught this, but Chaz posted his highlights from the Pro-am he played in earlier this summer. The college basketball world better be ready for the Chaz Williams show.

Wow, upgrading my laptop to 8GB RAM made the video almost fast enough to keep up with the Chazz-a-ma-tazzzz.

Man is he quick. I love the shot late in the clip where #3 wasn't even guarding him. Looked like that guy had enough of guarding Chazz and threw in the towel.

Two more years of eligibility!!!

Nothing we didn't already know, but Chaz is getting respect on Bleacher Report.

We are insanely lucky that Chaz transfered here. Somewhere down the road, the kid will be remembered as the guy who had one of the biggest, if not the biggest, impact in getting this program back on track post Calipari.

Exciting player, great kid, and like DrJ said, "2 more years of eligibility". It's gonna be fun

A number of you ought to go back and read the beginning of this thread. You might wanna pony up a "Wow. I was really, really wrong about Chaz." Joking. Sort of. But seriously, go back and sort through the first page or two of this thread. It's hilarious.

We're going to love Chaz. It will be like Traynam never left, got way better, and grew up to be a leader on and off the court.

Someone had this to say....not bad.
