Yes! When do tickets go on sale?? I'll be first in line!! Best part is by 2012 alot of these super talented freshmen and sophomores we have now will be absolute studs!

So BC next year? UConn in 2012? Anything on the books for after that?

Yeah, bet some Saratoga at the Bradley Teletheater and then head over to the runway for some tailgating.

They have a poker room or anything there? Or just simulcast?

Nice! As great as Michigan was to watch on TV, having 3 games in the next 3 years which I and assumably most will be able to attend is very exciting! Also, 3 very good chances of proving we belong in the FBS especially with back to back years against Big East opponents in the northeast.

I think it's just simulcasting. But Mohegan Sun isn't terribly far away, maybe a 45-min. drive at most.

Could this be an audition of sorts or would that be my imagination and another payday?

An overreaction by me I guess.

1. The week before Labor Day was always a vacation week for me before I retired. My first thought was that our attendance - as opposed to UConn's season ticket attendance - would not be large.

2. Same thought on time and distance on a work night and a school night for all those families with kids that now start before Labor Day. Home at 11 or 12 or 1 is tough.

3. "Back in the day" UConn was THE opponent. Not BC. Not Temple in hoops, etc. I have gone many times to Gampel, the Hartford Civic Center, and the old campus football and hoops facilities. My memories are not positive, including one of a guy with no headlights and no shoes bashing into my car in a snow storm.

Don't mind me.

(I am 1-for-1 at the new field, watching our lax last minute win over Georgetown in April.)

I am all for it. Last time we played Uconn was in '99 when we blew their doors off 62-20. Its hard to believe it has been 11 years since we have played UConn - that is simply ridiculous (imho). Those rivalry games were always fun for the alums on both sides.

A few things have changed since then . . . like 20 more scholarships, a 40,000-seat stadium and BCS money. But that would make it even sweeter if we beat 'em, wouldn't it?
