Thanks OC ... talked about him a little on the blog today. This kid (2013 recruit) would be a great get for the program. Tall, fast and has good hands.

| Yet another commitment today for 2012. Per the UMass football blog and Maroon Musket, kicker Ian Maltz committed to us over offers from schools such as Texas Tech, Houston, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio State, Florida,Rutgers, Bowling Green,Army,Navy and Elon. He was named the top high school kicking prospect in the nation by kicking.com. From the sounds of it, he'll compete for time right off the bat. |

| Kicking has been subpar for quite some time. This sounds like a great move and let's hope he can contribute right away. |

Didn't see your reply earlier, sorry. I'm going off what I saw at the Spring Game, don't know what they are listed at but I know what my eyes saw.

Sounds like a nice, under the radar (due to injury) guy. From Griswald, CT which I have never heard of in my life despite growing up in the Nutmeg state.
