... actually has a really interesting connection to UMass lacrosse. Maybe some of you older guys remember Bob Lindsay?

“I played football and basketball in high school, and when I went to college to play football, I had an ACL injury right away,” said Lindsay. “The men’s lacrosse coach at UMass at the time was a fellow by the name of Dick Garber, who is a Hall of Famer and a great coach. He came up to me and said, ‘This happens to a lot of guys who then go on to (play lacrosse). A lot of lacrosse players never played lacrosse in high school, but they get to college, give it a try and end up being very good’.”
