Hi Fellas,

Long time lurker and first time poster. Here is a video that i stumbled upon featuring James Ihedigbo from a jets blog that I visit.

I admired Ihedigbo as a player and even as a person. I'm surely jealous of his age, his abilities, his exuberance and his good fortune to be able to afford such a car. And yet, as I watched the video, FEAR was the emotion that came to the forefront. The emphasis on burning rubber while knowing that safe driving is what should be emphasized, was scary to contemplate. I wonder how many of you also saw potential horrifying newspaper headlines in the future?

Eh, looked to me like they were creating more noise than speed. It's not THAT fast a car. Plus it's pretty hard to lose control of any modern sports car with traction control going in a straight line on a dry road. The only thing I would even think twice about is if that was a densely populated area, but it's not completely clear from the video and we don't really know how fast they were going.

He's on ESPNEWS right now on a "Getting to know James Ihedigbo" segment... excellent. Very well spoken.

Ihedigbo is cool i read his tweets. He is in the NFL because he is very strong and hits like a ton of bricks. Hope he has a great camp & season for the Jets.

According to Yahoo, Thomas Jones took a swing at James at Jets camp.

Jones is listed at 5-10, 212
Ihedigbo is listed at 6-1, 210

Even if that was meant to be a sarcastic "massive" it still made zero sense

I was referring to Jones' massive guns not his physical size. The guy has massive guns.
