Just signed an extension, and you really think a coach who hasn't gotten to the NCAAs since the team moved up to the ECAC is a good choice? Seriously, Qpac has poured a LOT of money into a new rink, NESN contract etc and he can't even win an ECAC regular season or ECAC tourney and you want him at UMass. |
He's been in the ECAC for 6 years. Yeah they definitely should've have made the NCAA's by now. I mean look at Toot, they got in in his first 6....oh wait the was Mark Dennehy, who didn't sign his extension through 2015-16 until after Coach Cahoon's extension. |

And at that point Dennehy had not had a ton of success at Merrimack yet.
Either way its the past, Mark Dennehy will be stepping on the Mullins Center ice, but he'll be wearing Merrimack colors, and probably BC colors after that. Time for you to move on from this obsession about it.
As far as the next coach, I would certainly hope that the AD aims higher than Pecknold. |

| Can I have the Cahoonaville sign if we get a new coach? |

Deal and I agree with you Mark Dennehy's next stop would be Chestnut Hill.
BTW, the Western Michigan coach is still above .500 |

| Kinda shocked about the Western Michigan coach - the big name coaches tend to flop more than they pan out. See how he does with the meat of the CCHA schedule. |
