I agree with almost all of what you said. However, since Delaware and UMass didn't play during Flacco's two years due to how the divisions line up, I'm highly skeptical that you got to see him play for free.

It's also worth noting that because NBC is broadcasting the game, we may get a chance to have one or both of our guys introduce themselves again.

I also mention this so all of you who freak out at the thought of Diggs calling us "ZooMass" again prepare yourself so you dont have a stroke and have to freak out on here for two weeks afterwards Wink

The answer to the kickoff question:

Bruce Kimball, one of our all-time greats, was on the field as a blocker on a kickoff for the Redskins.

The ball squibbed to him and he fell on it.

All-time UMass totals on kickoff returns in Super Bowls: one for zero yards.

I was thinking about mentioning that last night, but never went back on the computer to do so.

If they re-tape them, I'm sure James will go with UMASS, but if they just use the old footage, we will def hear ZooMass... and I can't wait!

Good stuff! Did you make this?

I'm hoping for, at some point during the game, Ihedigbo covers Cruz, and a photo of it goes up online somewhere. That'd be one to go up in the UM Football offices.

Didn't make it - saw it on Victor Cruz's Facebook wall and thought it was awesome.

I would love if the Super Bowl pic consists of James' outstretched arms reaching for Cruz as he sprints into the endzone.

I'd like a nice closeup of Ihedigbo stiff-arming Cruz on his way to a touchdown after Eli's 6th interception of the day.

So you're saying you want a photo of Ihedigbo's first career NFL interception?

You say that like David Tyree's first career play of any significance didn't win you a Super Bowl, and isn't one of the most famous photos in NFL history.

How about we keep it classy and leave the subtle jabs at our own guys out of the Super Bowl debate? We can root for our own teams, but we should also be rooting for both guys to make a name for themselves in this game.

Well obviously all Pats fans do, but in an ideal world for us Victor goes for 3 TDs and the Pats win.

Regardless, we shouldn't be on here talking like he aint shit, nor should we expect UMass' Giants fans to be making comments like that about Diggs. Regardless of the uniform they wear, they're still one of ours.
