Is NU's stream free?
If so, that's cool. It looks like a nice system... _________________ Class of '08 |

4-3 Northeastern (OT)
:22 into OT a blind NU centering pass banks off of Marcou's skate into the net. Brutal. |

| What a disappointing finish. At least the streaming video was free. |

Didn't see the game. Didn't hear the game. One comment, Ugh.
9th place. Going to be a battle for this team to make the Hockey East playoffs. _________________ If only I could be as great a fan as Pierce9999.... |

Becoming (no wait, is continually) a reoccurring theme for this team. Pattern has been in place for a long time. |

Merrimack scores with two seconds left to win, 4-3. Four straight losses for the Minutemen, and making the playoffs looks even more in doubt. But, when you think about it, what does making the playoffs matter anyway since it would be a first round exit.
I would like to begin a collection to see how much we can bring in to help defray the costs of firing our hockey coach. The game has passed him by only he doesn't know it. Seriously. It is the same thing every year. This program is in the saddest state it has been in for a long time. _________________ If only I could be as great a fan as Pierce9999.... |

I have actually given Toot more leeway than any other coach that has ever been in charge of one of my teams. Partly because of what he has done, partly because I don't know enough college hockey to know who is out there to replace him, and partly because I think the blame falls more with the players.
But,
That was terrible. UMass was waiting for the clock to hit 0:00 and the Merrimack player came in completely uncovered and put it home. I guess the team thinks since they never play for the win late in the 3rd period that other teams won't either. This isn't the pros where you can have a firesale so that leaves the coach to take the fall.
Toot isn't going anywhere until his contract is up no matter how much we want him gone. I wouldn't oppose a collection effort to speed up the process however _________________ http://youtu.be/8i5A1Pn0z6k |

| Just back from the game. Good game overall, tough ending. Our team is very young and its been a tough season but I will defer to those w/more hockey knowledge as to whether Cahoon is to blame. To me it seems like we are just inexperienced and that better days are ahead as these kids get some maturity. |

Whenever Toot's contract ends, so be it. We need freshness in recruiting and coaching. Too many 'fades' late in the season. Or, even earlier.
Don't forget - a Hockey East head coaching job is, arguably, a very desirable and competitive job. We need new thinking and energy. We should have a wealth of candidates.
Toot - sorry, but things are passing you by. GOOD LUCK in the future. _________________ Feeling entitled is JUST a feeling... |
