| All you dullards who voted for Dingle should note that Will Herndon, at 6'3", scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while shooting 6 for 8 (not unusual as he averaged a UMass record 72% from the field that year) in this game. |

Duly noted. Now let me go back and vote for Dingle again, who is MY FAVORITE between the two. _________________ Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades |

| One of the toughest calls, no doubt. But I went with Dana D. |

I started at UMass in 1982. I started going to basketball games that fall. As the program struggled through the 1980's I used to imagine what it would be like to be a student at or alumnus of a school that had a good team. It was an incredible experience walking into the Spectrum 20 years ago tonight. UMass had really arrived. |

| Are we going to see 'refuse to lose' printed on the back of the warm-up jerseys next year? |

My understanding is that previous schools he used that at could use the term if they wanted. _________________ Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades |

As cox'n mentioned, today is the 20 year anniversary of the Sweet Sixteen game. It could also be known as "The day you knew the name Lennie Wirtz".
cox'n mentioned the old link, but here's a better one with more content, and an analysis of that technical that I probably spent more time on than I should have
Check it all out:
