Found this on Twitter Friday:
@JaceyZembal of the website http://ncstate.rivals.com/ from his feed:
Former NCSU commit and Auburn signee Luke Cothron could be playing for UTEP this year, but we'll see. Still much to be determined.

Luke Cothron with a supposed final four of UTEP, UMass, Charlotte and ECU. UTEP leads.

What the hell is with this kid? He was a NC State commit and an Auburn signee and now he is looking for another team? _________________ If only I could be as great a fan as Pierce9999.... |

Looks like that is the thing to do. Our old buddy Wiggins is now at school number four (the well known Mountain State University), having also not played at school number three (Robert Morris).
I wonder what the world record is. _________________ "Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here." |

| Yeah the only way this kid was ever going to play in College was as a Non-Qualifier ANYWHERE, and since few big schools allow them in and his talent, Europe seems about right for a year. |

I'll take the talent...I don't think Matt Hill will have a scholly next season...just a guess though since he'd have used 4 years with one and should be graduating... _________________ Go Umass! |

BTHoops first post says he could play for UTEP this year.
If he's at UMass as a non-qualifier, he has to sit this year out, right?
This guy's a 4-star for Rivals and Scout. 94 for ESPN. Listed at #45 in Rivals top 150. Similar territory as Vinson but higher.
His game looks like Vinson's (and Laury's) with a smidge more lift.

If this guy suits up... wow... what a frontcourt with TV.
The infusion of talent to this program has been nothing short of amazing in the last 2 years! |

| I'm not sure everyone realizes what kind of pick up this would be if true. Cothron would be a program changer in the A-10, with him and all the players eligible in 2011-12, I really dont see what would be stopping this team from contending for a conference title and a NCAA bid |

Wow - SICK pick-up!!! Wish it was the 2011-2012 season this year! According to Scout, he had offers from UConn, WV, OK, NC State, Louisville, Mississippi State, Arkansas, and Auburn! That's an incredible list right there. With Chaz W, DT, TV, Freddie, Laguerre and now Cothron - that's some impressive talent! Hope Putney looks good as well! Now we just have to play some D!! |
