The coaches are actually really respecting us - notice how close to 3rd we are in actual votes. The media (and Laxpower elite) are lagging behind, but who cares?

This is probably our highest mid-season rating ever by Coaches. Our low SOS means we are probably about here until the NCAA's. The Colonial COnference is relative weak OOC this year, may only see 1 bid.

We stayed at 3 in the coaches poll and we are just one point out of third in the other.

"a nice place to be" at Number 3. I stand by post last week - there we sit until we lose or playoffs. A team unseen on TV will not get one or two, in my view.

We persevere, just keep it up boys.

I agree Econ. The only way we move up is if UVa or Hopkins loses and I'm not sure how likely that is. If we put up a stinker in a win against our remaining sched, we might get bumped down a spot or two. The shitty thing is we'll get a shitty seed and will get lucky to host a home game because the lax mafia will prevent it!!

I don't think the Hopkins/ACC/Baltimore crowd has quite as much juice as they used to, Kosty. Our SOS should get a little better if the other CAA teams like Hostra and Delaware play to their ability. Not having Syracuse on the schedule doesn't help us, however. I hate those bastards.

Hopkins plays UVA this weekend, I believe. But I still don't think we'll move ahead unless one of them gets their doors blown off.

Virginia struggled this weekend with Ohio State ... they were down 6-1 after the first quarter and 8-6 in the third before the Hoos stormed back to win, 11-9.

Case in point. The sport is growing nationally so the mid-Atlantic region's stranglehold will gradually weaken.
