Yep. Little hint people: if you don't feel like reading then don't click on the link. Wait for someone else to comment on it or just move on and talk about something else. Another hint...

If you don't want to read about Gil, then don't open it. Same thing with the Charlotte players. I enjoy the extra links. I also believe that anything going on at our A-10 brethren affects us. Because it does. In wins and losses. |

The link wasn't the problem. I love knowing that information. _________________ Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades |

Well, Hurley's got himself some players. Let's see what he does with them. _________________ Always remember that you are unique, just like everyone else. |

Kevin McNamara of the providence journal reports that Billy Baron will transfer from Rhode Island. There is no clear landing spot but it is a possibility that he lands at Canisius with his father. |

Took a while to come around to that. I guess Billy didn't fall in love with Danny Hurley. Or vice versa. _________________ Always remember that you are unique, just like everyone else. |

| He didn't fall in love at Virginia either. To transfer again and sit out an additional year to get out of URI is a decision I probably wouldn't make if I were him. You have to imagine he would still get a good amount of playing time next year and his senior year as the team comes into its own and Hurley starts bringing in his guys. Maybe not 30 mpg like his father gave him buy minutes nonetheless. |

| Look for him to get a waiver if he follows his father. |

| I honestly think he could score a waiver nonetheless ala Trey Ziegler who went from CMU to Pitt. His old man was his coach, got canned and he left not sitting out this season. I do see him following his old man up to Canisius, but if he goes elsewhere and DOES sit out, the NCAA is even more screwed up than I thought given the Ziegler ruling earlier this spring. I thought he was a pretty decent player and could definately contribute at any level, obviously he would be a stud at Canisius and a role player at a higher level. |

| I think it begs the question, why did he to to Virginia in the first place? |

Much better school than URI in every way except access to the beach. |

| He spent one semester there. I agree its a way better school but he changed his mind so quick that I wonder why you would go for 4 months just to sit out for a year. |

| Wow, look at all the hate I got for saying Hurley will immediately step in and be a force in the A-10 right away. Just picked up 2 Rivals top 150 players in 2 days, before he has even coached a game for URI. Very impressive. Uh oh |
