This was a tough call for URI, no question about it. I wonder if his son stays or transfers again now since his father was fired.

I thought Baron was a good hire based on what he did with the Bonnies.
I wonder if Thorr is interested in Amaker (or vice versa)?
Ran into Thorr in AC, he wasn't giving up any info when I asked about Skinner and others , other than to say it was a tough decision but it was time ....

I also thought Baron was a good hire. This past season was obviously a rough one for him, but a lot of good coaches can have a tough year. That said, I think perception (more than the quality of the coaching) is the major reason URI needed to make a change...the program really just needs a fresh start at this point.

Adam Zagoria says he has not been hired yet, those are all false internet rumors.

Danny Hurley would be a hell of a hire though, the A-10 would be in trouble.

Why? A10 has some pretty good coaches. I don't think they're shaking in their shoes over the prospect if Danny Hurley at uri.

It's a great hire if it's true.

But where did you see that? Only that 1 outlet was saying that the other day, and Thorr was denying a decision had been made. Perhaps things solidified since then.

I'm really surprised that so many people think firing Baron was a bad move. I certainly will not be satisfied if DK performs at the level that Baron has at URI.
