Thought there was already a thread on this, but I couldn't find it (Mike: do the boolean searches work??)
How much does it cost to join the UMASS Club? _________________ Stop waiting for UMass to do something big and help UMass do something big. - Shades |

meff - I don't know. I think it goes up in steps. Old folks (me) pay about $75 a month. Now that I am retired, I have argued that there should be a discount for members above 65 or 70. _________________ "Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. I just got the mailing from the athletic dept. with the solicitation request for the new Minutemen Club. Reading the information I found something very disturbing about priority points. Under the "category" listing for season tickets purchased, go across to the "definitions" part.
It says " One (1) point is awarded for each season ticket purchased in your name. Years of purchase will be determined based on data from the UMass athletic ticket office. Season ticket purchase points are cumulative, but if a year of purchasing season tickets is skipped, your season ticket holder points is reset to zero (0)"
I will not get FB season tickets for the upcoming season because of the 3hour one way trip to the games, 6 hour round trip, so to me that means that I will forfeit all the points I have accumulated from way back in 1968. Don't sound very fair to me.
When you guys get yours check this out and see if I am reading it right. Thanks |

Berkman, I think you are OK. It states that all priority points earned as of 12-31-11 will be carried forward and placed in the "Legacy" catagory. You will always have your Legacy points. In the future, you will forfeit previously earned (earned starting in 2012) season ticket points if cancel your season tickets for a year.
By the way, the picture on the envelope is Put with his ESPN dunk against St. Joes.
Just to clarify, Berkman and I are referring to "The Minutemen Club".
