Around 7:15 I felt the house shake and thought it was a gust of wind. My mother-in-law called and she was watching CH 5 Boston and they said that there was a 4.6 earthquake in Maine so I guess that is what we felt.

I definitely felt it for at least 5-10 seconds in Newburyport. House shook big time. Does not happen often here in New England.

next door neighbors, closest outer walls 100ft apart or so, called...they felt it...
but we did not...

(The moat I built last year must have absorbed it)...

we live about a halfmile from the amtrak downeaster tracks and my wife and i thought the train had derailed.
