Is there any reason to believe this season will be any better than the last two?

Will have to wait and see. When an assistant talked at the luncheon a couple of weeks ago she said that they had seven freshmen ? and did expect that two would make some contributions early in the season.

Well, they have 4 freshmen recruits and a walk-on freshman. There also is a transfer redshirt freshman who of course won't play this year - so technically 6 freshmen. Bomben will be able to play this season after redshiring so there are technically 6 new players and 1 redshirt newcomer on the team.

Timbilla probably gets big minutes this season at the 4 and Henry may get minutes as the back-up PG as Cloutier still is working on coming back from knee surgery. Harris probably gets minutes at the back-up 2 guard.

It looks like this could be the class which makes or breaks Dawley. With a class of this size she needs it to be her core group (similar to TV, JF, Sampson, Riley). With so many young players it'd be tough to judge success on this year, but we should at least see talent in these freshmen. If there hasn't been significant improvement into and through their junior years, then we may be looking for another coach again.
