If he visits UMASS hopefully Sean Carter can convince him that his time spent at UMASS is far better than the time he spent at Oregon State. Could be a small factor to get him to stay near home.

Thats why I said supposedly, DK announced at the banquet he was leaving for Portsmouth the next day.

Sean is on a tryout list type thing at the Portsmouth Invitational. Players that are on their initial list will drop out/not attend and Sean may get selected to join one of the teams.

Can't help think Carson is a fantastic fit at UMass. It totally complements his desired style and it's close to home. He has a chance to be a big fish in a relatively medium pond. I hope he gets good advice because that would guide him to take a long, hard look at UMass. The program is incredibly different than when he was looking for programs while in high school.
