Again, some of you were wondering about him so we touched base. BC did offer him recently and he's giving the Eagles strong consideration. He will visit UMass very soon and it sounds like it's between JMU, BC and UMass at the moment. BC has offered him as an athlete. Said he knows all he needs to know about the Eagles.

As he will probably only play one year of collegiate football before declaring for the NFL draft and becoming instant all-pro, he certainly needs his own thread. |

BC told Stacey Bedell thanks but no thanks since he was considering UMass as well so he likely won't be visiting this weekend. BC has no problem with kids considering Harvard or other Ivy League schools because of the education, but UMass was a bit too much.

Bedell is a lot of fun to watch. Reminds me a little bit of J-Hern, small but tough with great line vision, but with more open field moves and speed.

I think he could be a great fit for our (presumed) spread offense. Spread the defense out, put him in space, and let him break arm tackles. Right type of player for shotgun draws too. We can definitely showcase players like this better than BC or JMU could. |

I thought the same thing. Kid has good speed & finds the holes well like Hernandez _________________ Buccaneer: Too much to pay for corn |
