Freshman year (2008-09) update:

Decided to transfer to Maine mid-way through the season.

Appeared in three games for the Minutemen.

Hit his first career basket versus Arkansas-Monticello (11/11).

Played a season-high 5 minutes at Memphis (11/18), snaring 2 rebounds.

Appeared briefly in game versus Holy Cross (12/10), what would be his last game played with the Minutemen.

Before UMass: Finished his prep career at Lee Academy in Lee, Maine under coach Karl Parker ... Played at Springfield Central High School prior to Lee from 2003-05 ... Also played AAU ball for the New England Playaz and coach T.J. Gassnola ... All-Tournament at the Providence Jam Fest ... Also received interest from Oklahoma, Temple, Xavier, Rhode Island and Missouri.
