====== 2011-12 Season ======
The 2011–12 UMass Minutemen men's basketball team represented the University of Massachusetts. The Head Coach was [[kellogg_derek|Derek Kellogg]]. The team played its home games primarily in the [[Mullins Center]] in Amherst, Massachusetts, and was a member of the [[atlantic_10|Atlantic 10 Conference]].

The season represented the 103rd season of basketball in the school's history.

In the regular season and conference tournament, UMass faced 10 teams that went on to post-season play.  In total, UMass went 7-7 in games against those teams.
