At UMass
- Due to CSU's unusual coaching change situation, Walker applied for a waiver to the NCAA's standard transfer rule, requesting immediate eligibility for the 2019-20 season.
2021-22 Senior year
- Appeared in each of the season's first eight games, all off the bench.
- Tallied 4 points, 5 boards, 2 blocks, and a steal in 16 minutes of work in the season opener vs UMBC (11/9).
- Put up 10 & 4 in 15 minutes of work vs Penn State (11/15). Shot 2-3 from three-point territory. Had some fun with Dyondre Dominguez after the game, celebrating the 25-point win.
- Shot 4-5 from deep vs UNC Greensboro (11/19), and finished with 12 points in 21 minutes.
- Went 4-4 from the field and 1-1 from the line for 9 points vs UMass-Lowell (11/24).
- Sat out of the Harvard game (12/4), then announced that he was having season-ending surgery to repair a leg injury.7)
- Finished with averages of 5.4 points and 3.3 rebounds in 14.5 minutes.
2020-21 Junior year
- Played in 12 of UM's 15 games in the Coronavirus-shortened season.
- Did not play in the season opener (Northeastern 12/11), but played in the next 10, and started in five straight (La Salle 1/9 thru Fordham 2/3).
- Tallied five points and seven rebounds (tying a career high) in the win at La Salle (12/16).
- Four points and two boards in back to back wins, over La Salle (1/9) and Rhode Island (1/13). Four blocks versus URI set a career high.
- Four points in the win at Rhode Island (2/6).
- Announced on February 9 that he intended to sit out the rest of the season and attend to his injured wrist.8) However, he returned on March 4 and played seven minutes versus Saint Joseph's, and four minutes the next day versus Saint Louis (3/5).
2019-20 Sophomore year
- NCAA finally granted Walker's waiver request in late December, and Walker dressed for and appeared in the 12/30 game at Akron.9)
- Took a few games to get comfortable. In his first five games with UMass, averaged 2.8 points, on .227 FG%, and 0.8 rebounds.
- Did better versus George Washington (1/18), with 10 points and 5 rebounds.
- Career high in points with 22, on 9-13 shooting, plus 3-4 from the stripe, versus Saint Joe's (1/29).
- Seven points and 5 boards in 13 minutes versus George Mason (2/9).
- Seven points and 2 boards in 15 minutes versus Dayton (2/15).
- Fourteen points, 3 boards, 2 blocks, and a steal versus Saint Louis (2/18).
- Seven points, 5 boards, 3 assists, and a steal at Fordham (2/22).
- Nineteen points, 7 boards, and a block in 24 minutes at Richmond (2/29).
- Starting with the GW game and through the rest of the season, averaged 7.6 ppg, on .429 FG%, and 3.1 rebounds.
Cleveland State (2018-19)
- Appeared in 24 of the Vikings' 31 games, averaging 4.7 ppg and 1.5 rpg.
- Posted four double-digit scoring efforts for CSU.
- Scored a career-high 17 points on 7-of-9 from the field against Wright State (1/19/19).
- Late in the season, the Cleveland Plain Dealer commented “Slender 6-7 freshman Dibaji Walker has talent, but might have benefited from red-shirting this season.”10)
- CSU hired a new Athletic Director in April 2019, who fired men's hoop coach Dennis Felton and his staff in July, after eight Vikings players said they would transfer.11)

High School / Prep School
- Played a prep year at Woodstock Academy for coach Tony Bergeron (UMass associate head coach 2019-21).
- 14th ranked recruit in the Connecticut class of 2018.
- Helped the Centaurs to a 35-5 record, a No. 3 national ranking, and reached the national prep tournament semifinals. Was teammates with Tre Mitchell.
- Averaged 11 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals per game at Woodstock.
- Posted 17.8 points per game as a senior at Independence on his way to All-Ohio Honorable Mention honors.
Personal
- Son of Samaki Walker, who played at Louisville and had a long career in the NBA. Samaki faced UMass in March 1996.
- Sister Sakima Walker was a 4-star recruit coming out of high school, and plays at Rutgers.
