Joined the basketball team, starting with the Harvard game (12/7), after the football season concluded.
Last game with eligibility was the GW game (1/18). His scholarship from football expired with the start of the Spring 2020 semester. Although he is a walk-on in basketball, eligibility rules still apply.

Put up a shot versus Maine (12/20). Got into short stints in the games at Akron (12/30) and versus GW (1/18) but registered no stats beyond minutes.
Played quarterback in 8 games for the Minutemen as part of a rotation.
Threw for a team-highs of 864 yards and a 60% completion rate.
Threw six touchdown passes throughout the season, and rushed for two.
2018-19 Redshirt Junior year
Appeared in 7 basketball games, officially joining the team after the football season.

2017-18 Redshirt Sophomore year
Joined the basketball program on Feb. 13 after earning a tryout invitation. Team needed front-court help after the losses of
Holloway and
Baldwin. Played in each of the team's remaining games after that.
Averaged 11.5 minutes, 2.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
Made first career appearance against George Washington (2/14), played seven minutes with one point, one rebound and one assist.
Season-high of 6 rebounds in three straight games: VCU (2/21), George Mason (2/24), Richmond (2/28).
Season-high 18 minutes versus VCU (2/21), and hit his first college career field goal.
Tallied season-highs in points (8) and blocks (3) in 17 minutes at George Mason (2/24). Shot 3-4 from the floor. Crucial effort from West as UM nearly got the win on the road. The three blocks turned out to be the only blocks of his college career.
Two points scored in the Duquesne (3/3) and George Mason (3/8) games.
