From the one time I've seen him play, he looked much more like a three than a four.

good bet

I think Feato was barking up the right tree. Having the older stories up was probably a mistake by whoever set up the web page last night. I'm sure no one made a conscious effort to put some of those stories ahead of the ones about Coach.
Ian on ESPN

Not sure if this is of interest to anyone, but Ian McCaw was on Outside the Lines Sunday. The show was about the NCAA's decision to allow Baylor's players to transfer without having to sit out a year.

you completely missed the point of everything mert just wrote.

There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with someone's point. There is nothing wrong with arguing over it here. Whether he was right or not isn't the argument here. It is about calling the kid a hack. That is the issue.

no, you're right. anyone who has an opinion different from yours should be called names. At least what this kid, who is barely old enough to vote and isn't paid for what he writes, has his actual name on his opinions.

Just because I think you acted like a jerk doesn't mean that he should change ...

"Yep, according to this hack, with just a tad more 'luck' ol' Steverino would have had UMass back on top of the league."

Swampy, there is no reason to call the kid names just because he has an opinion different than yours. Jesus. Be a man and point out your argument, don't call a kid still ...

You are certainly entitled to your opinion on Gabe. He isn't the best overall, but I would put him among the top 3 big men.

Otherwise, we are in agreement regarding Lappas. I wasn't trying to defend him (although it may have seemed that way). I guess I just think more of Gabe. I can see your ...

You're a sweetheart.

I'm not going to get into a pissing contest about my intelligence with you. Just trust me on this one.

Now, whether Lappas is a moron, as you have gone out of your way to point out in virtually every thread here, that is entirely possible. But my argument is that there are ...

mature.

But then, wasn't there rumblings last year that KWil should be playing more when Lap was leaving him on the bench? Shouldn't we all have assumed that Lappas had seen enough in practice to make the personnel decisions? Oh, of course not. They definitely should have benched Gabe. Obviously ...

I don't recall anyone clamoring for them to sit Gabe when he was healthy.

If you actually have a memory then you will remember that Bruiser left an experienced point guard in Shannon Crooks. In Lappas' second year he had Mike Lasme - a player everyone but Lappas thought was better suited to play the point than was AA.
AA is/was a much better PG than Crooks or ...
